PPS Pension Services is one of Western New York’s largest and oldest retirement plan recordkeeping firms. Founded in 1968, the firm currently provides recordkeeping services and retirement plan consulting to hundreds of businesses across America.


Our Management Team

Robin has owned and operated PPS Pension Services since 1986, overseeing the company’s growth from operating a few dozen qualified plans to our current client list of over 300 businesses.

In 2017, he co-founded PPS Retirement Advisors, LLC which was named to the National Association of Plan Advisors list of Top Defined Contribution Advisory Teams in the United States in 2017.

PPS Retirement Advisors is affiliated with the GRP Advisor Alliance, a national firm which represents more than 475 retirement plan advisors across 33 states that oversees more than 25,000 retirement plans.

Robin is a Registered Investment Advisor through LPL Financial Services, the largest independent broker/dealer in the USA.

With over 30 years of experience, he is a Life and Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, and has previously qualified for the Top of the Table. He has been a keynote speaker at 4 national retirement plan conferences and has been quoted in 3 articles published in various Financial Service Magazines. He has served as a retirement plan school instructor for multiple Fortune 100 financial service companies. He has achieved industry designations of Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

He is a Past President of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northtowns of Western New York and continues to serve that organization in various capacities.

Through his concert promotion company, Quarternote Promotions, Robin has organized and promoted several concerts using Local and National touring musicians with all proceeds donated to Local Non-Profit Organizations.

Robin and his wife, Sharon, live in Clarence Center, New York. Their son, Anthony, is his business partner and daughter, Lindsey, is employed by AmeriFirst Financial in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Anthony began his career at PPS Pension Services in 2000 after graduating from The University of Rochester. During his tenure, PPS has experienced significant growth in both the size of their client base, as well as their client footprint around the country.

In 2017, Anthony co-founded PPS Retirement Advisors, LLC which was recently named to the National Association of Plan Advisors list of Top Defined Contribution Advisory Teams in the United States for 2017.

Anthony was also named to the Financial Times Top Retirement Plan Advisors in America listing in 2015 and 2016. He is a 4x nominee for NAPA Magazine’s 40 Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40 List, as well as being named to the Buffalo Business First 40 Under 40 List. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and has been quoted in numerous publications on Retirement and 401K matters. Anthony currently chairs a Retirement Services committee for a Fortune 100 Company, allowing him to stay current on retirement issues, product enhancements and legislation changes. He has served as the keynote speaker at National Qualified Plan Seminars on two occasions. In 2015, Anthony was a platform speaker at the Million Dollar Roundtable Annual Meeting in New Orleans, LA.

Anthony also holds an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. This designation is awarded to candidates who have undergone significant training and education on the roles and responsibilities of Retirement Plan Fiduciaries and the laws that govern Fiduciary issues.

Away from the office, Anthony is very involved in youth hockey in the Buffalo area. He is currently the General Manager for the Buffalo Jr. Sabres Midget Programs and coaches his son’s Buffalo Jr. Sabres 10U team.

He and his wife Michelle live in Clarence Center with their sons, Noah and Alex.

Karen manages our staff of Pension Administrators. Karen’s team is responsible for the implementation and ongoing administration of PPS’s defined contribution plans including all aspects of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code compliance.

With 30 years of experience in retirement plan design, administration and communications, she has been instrumental in maintaining the administration of our clients' plans by staying current on pension legislation, computer technology and streamlining procedures. Karen also maintains daily contact with the pension departments at our investment provider partners.

Karen and her husband, Steve live in Lancaster with their two sons, Mitchell and Trevor.
